Bio

Jay Tang is a designer and photographer based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. His passion to create compelling images led him to follow the path of graphic design and photography. He's still very much exploring both talents and does whatever it takes to take his skills to new heights.

In 2004 he co-founded Amsterdam based design studio Terra Preta with design partner Dennis Maij. Having gained experience with creative stills and landscape photography, he started to explore different genres of this art four years later. He focused on model photography as it added extra layers of challenge. Emotion and interaction with the model becomes central in converting the concept into a great image. Currently he's exploring interiors and editorials.
