Japan Revisited: Kyoto MARUI in the evening

Day 2 of the photo collection ‘Japan Revisited’. Today’s photograph takes us to Kyoto, the former capital of Japan. Kyoto MARUI is a well-known shopping centre located near the Kawaramachi Station, right at the cross between the Shiji Street and the Kawaramachi Dori. Out of all the places I’ve visited during my stay in Japan three years ago, Kyoto was definitely my favourite city. It had the right balance of traditional cultures mixed with modern Japan. This shot was taken on a rainy evening. The wide variety of colours and lights captured my attention.
