Rarely do we see the other side of Hong Kong that is slower paced, serene and where time looks to have stood still. I am talking about the village life that is seen outside of the city area.
My parents were born in Hong Kong, so I come back to my roots every couple of years. During my visit in December 2013, I decided to shoot series of photographs that shows a different side of Hong Kong. Here are the results in this photographic documentary titled ‘The Other Side of Hong Kong: Village Life / 香港的另一面 : 鄉村生活’. I’m happy with the results I got from the short stay. Nevertheless, I look forward to expand on the theme on my next visit.
